BookCrafters LLC offers a complimentary evaluation and estimate. Rates can vary by project, according to a project's complexity and the level of detailed analysis required.

Manuscript critiques:  For manuscripts of 60,000 words or less, a rate of $675 applies. For manuscripts longer than 60,000 words,  let us know the word count and we will let you know the rate.

Book proposals: An hourly rate applies.  Please contact us for more information and an initial estimate.

Manuscript editing: This is based on an hourly rate and an estimate is provided upon receipt of a sample (5-10 pages) of the manuscript.  It is important to specify what services you are looking for (i.e., line-editing, developmental editing, proofreading for grammatical mistakes). If you are unsure, we can advise you as to what services your manuscript requires based upon the sample received.

PLEASE NOTE: Once we agree to move forward on a project together, BookCrafters LLC emails you an agreement for signature.  A retainer (equal to half the estimated fee) is required with the return of the signed  agreement; this amount is then credited back to the project. Work upon a project will not commence until receipt of the signed agreement and retainer. 

The general turnaround time for a project is two weeks to one month.
