Editor Elizabeth Zack founded BookCrafters LLC in 2003.  Prior to the establishment of BookCrafters LLC, Elizabeth Zack was a Senior Editor for The Ballantine Publishing Group, a division of Random House, Inc., as well as for John Wiley & Sons, Inc.   During her time in book publishing she acquired and developed over 130 titles in a wide range of subject areas, including self-help, parenting, reference, spirituality, humor, health & fitness, and biography.  She has over 16 years of experience in book publishing, and holds a B.A. in English and Psychology from Colgate University in Hamilton, New York. 

 

Clients at BookCrafters include Captain Scott Shields and Nancy M. In addition, Elizabeth has served as a panelist at the American Society of Journalists and Authors' annual conference, and as a workshop leader and speaker for The Golden Triangle Writers Guild and the Houston Writers League. She is  a contributing author to The Writer's Handbook 2003 and Making the Perfect Pitch: How to Catch a Literary Agent's  Eye
